The great return of “Legally Blonde”. There will be two productions

After many years of waiting, “Legally Blonde” will return to the screens – including as a series. Reese Witherspoon’s production company is working on the television spin-off of the story about the fierce lawyer.

Nearly 23 years after the premiere of the first part, “Legally Blonde” will return to the screens. The romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon is expected to receive not only another feature film, but also a series on the Amazon Prime platform.

The return of “Legally Blonde” has been rumored since 2018, but the cinema production has still not seen the light of day and it is not known whether we will know its premiere date in the near future. Last year’s screenwriters’ strikes in Hollywood, which halted work on many projects, also didn’t help. However, there are many indications that the fierce lawyer Ell Woods, beloved by viewers, will soon return to the screens. This role will be played again by Reese Witherspoon, who, together with Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, is working on a series spin-off of the beloved story. Not much is known about the plot of the TV series yet.

The first part of the adventures of Ell Woods was released in cinemas in 2001. The audience then loved the story of the heroine, abandoned by her beloved, who decides to break the stereotype of the “dumb blonde” by going to law school. After the positive response from the viewers, the creators decided to shoot another part of the production. It was released in 2003 and has not yet been followed up, despite numerous requests from fans. In the sequel, the main character goes to a congress in Washington, where she fights for animal rights.
