– We are the earliest Polish breakfast restaurant, you won’t find anything earlier on TV. With us you can drink your morning coffee and ask, for example, what the weather will be like – said Rafał Patyra at the beginning of the program. Later, the hosts talked, among others: about coffee or changes in housework. Unfortunately, during the first program in history, it was not possible to avoid mistakes. They were mainly related not to the hosts themselves, but to other employees of TV Republika.

At one point, for a few minutes, you could hear about the results of yesterday’s local government elections. Unfortunately, the TV Republika reporter did not notice for a long time that he was talking to the wrong camera. He only reacted when he – and the viewers – heard the loud command “Camera, camera!”. The command shouted from outside the frame caused chaos for a few seconds, but then it was under control.

For now, the program consists mainly of studio talks – it is evident that the editorial staff is poor, as there were not many journalistic materials or other attempts to “leave” the studio. One of them was Popek’s visit to a cafe and conversation with a coffee importer from the Salesian foundation. In this and the next episodes, you can also expect a cooking corner – but it was not organized in the studio, but in the forest.
Anna Popek and Rafał Patyra as a duo, but there will be a new host tomorrow
At the end of the program, Popek and Patyra wanted to move neatly from topic to topic, but there were problems here too. Wondering whether Michał Rachoń had any animal – Anna Popek suggested that it was probably a huge dog – they probably wanted to ask what the host of the next program had prepared. An attempt to connect to Rachoń at 7:16 failed. Rafał Patyra commented:
Maybe he’s feeding the dog and he’s not ready to talk to us yet.
At the end of the program, Popek and Patyra, who worked for years at TVP before moving to TV Republika, revealed that there will be more hosts of the new breakfast show. A new host will join the presenter tomorrow. However, she did not want to reveal his name. However, it is known that despite today’s delay, the program will start from Monday to Friday at 6:05, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 8:00.
