When “Ranczo” hit the screens 18 years ago, no one even expected that the series would become a nationwide hit that would become a permanent fixture on Polish Television. The popularity of the production brought fame to its entire cast, including young debutants, including Maciej Cempura.
He played in “Rancz” as a child. What does it look like now?
The several-year-old actor played the role of Szymek Solejuk from the first season of the series. His hero came from a poor family where financial problems and alcohol problems were commonplace. However, from the very beginning, the boy showed special abilities, thanks to which he began studying at a boarding school. As a teenager, Solejuk, to the displeasure of his parents, fell in love with his neighbors’ daughter.
Working on “Rancz” awakened the then-teenage Maciej Cempur’s love of acting. After finishing school, he started studying at the Białystok branch of the Theater Academy. He creates his own compositions, including settings for theater performances. He publishes his songs on the SoundCloud music platform.
