In Thursday’s episode of “Kitchen Revolutions”, Magda Gessler visited the Pomylone Gary bistro in Poznań. The restaurateur expected that she would have to do a lot of work to get it in order. However, the restaurant owners were ready for anything, because, as they confessed in front of the cameras, the investment in the restaurant not only consumed all their savings, but also put them into debt. To repay part of the outstanding amount, Mr. Kuba even decided to sell his house, but unfortunately this was not enough. The owners, pressed against the wall, asked Magda Gessler for help, who did not spare them bitter words.
“Kitchen Revolutions” in “Polylone Gary” in Poznań
The first visit to “Pomylone Gary” did not go very well. The first dish was pizza with gorgonzola cheese and arugula. The restaurateur praised the cake, but also noticed that the taste of one of the additions was practically undetectable. The next dish was a casserole, which did not have a positive impact on Magda Gessler’s opinion of the place. The meat was full of cartilage, which she did not fail to mention: “People shouldn’t eat this, I don’t know what you’re buying… what kind of shit are you grinding, I’m very sorry” – asked the disgusted restaurateur, holding a fork with a raw potato in her hand . “Pizza, **big dough, on a dirty oven with a terrible topping…” she continued.
The next dish was stroganoff, which, as Magda Gessler admitted, reminded her of the times of the Polish People’s Republic. At the end, the owners of the restaurant served the restaurateur an oven-baked potato, which turned out to be a hit. However, the problem of “Pomylony Gary” was not only the quality and taste of the dishes offered, but also the cleanliness of the facilities. The kitchen did not pass Magda Gessler’s inspection. “My hands are falling off,” the restaurateur commented aloud.
