In an interview with ShowNews, Maja Rutkowska admitted that they pour perfume on themselves that day. It’s an ancient tradition. The Rutkowscy family have been accustomed to such holiday celebrations for years.
It is known that the tradition of pouring water on each other is most enjoyed by children – we also try to celebrate it. We also pour water on ourselves, but not only that, because we spray perfume on older people. I brought this tradition from my home

The old tradition has already been forgotten in most Polish families. First of all, it is related to its harmfulness, because, as ophthalmologists warn, if such substances get into the eye, they can cause permanent damage to the cornea. Secondly, few people can afford to waste bottles worth several hundred zlotys. As Jastrząb Post journalists noticed, Rutkowski can afford it. “I have nothing to be ashamed of, that I am a millionaire and that I have millions of zlotys in my account,” Krzysztof Rutkowski once assured in an interview with the Jastrząb Post portal.
