On Monday, April 1, Monika Borkowska officially said goodbye to Telewizja Polska. Until December last year, she acted as a host of journalistic programs and prepared materials for the main edition of “Wiadomości”. As a result of the changes that took place in the public media after the parliamentary elections, the presenter stopped appearing on TVP Info.

Monika Borkowska posted information about the end of cooperation with Telewizja Polska on the website “Well… I’ll go to another ball. With happier music.” The presenter also referred to Wirtualna Polska’s article about prosecutor Ewa Wrzosek and her activities regarding public media.
Monika Borkowska started her career in Polish Television working in the Łódź branch of TVP3. In June last year, she joined the editorial team of “Wiadomości”. She also hosted journalistic programs such as: “Miwała 8”, “Miwała 9”, “Miwała 20” and “Za czy contra”. Before she came to television, Borkowska worked as the director of the press office of the Kukiz ’15 party in the Skierniewice district. In 2018, she ran in the local elections on behalf of Law and Justice.
Monika Borkowska disappeared from TVP Info after changes introduced in public media at the end of last year. Adrian Klarenbach, Anna Bogusiewicz and foreign correspondents also said goodbye to Telewizja Polska: Rafał Stańczyk, Dominika Ćosić, Maksymilian Maszenda and Tomasz Jędruchów.
