Although Anne Hathaway has two children, her path to motherhood was long and bumpy. In her latest interview, she revealed that she had a miscarriage years ago. However, fate had a completely different plan for her and just a few weeks later she suffered a miscarriage. The mourning stage was doubly difficult for her because at that time she was performing in the off-Broadway show “Grounded”, in which she played a pregnant pilot. – It didn’t work out the first time. I was in a play and had no choice: I gave birth on stage every night – adding that she had to grit her teeth and act professionally for 6 weeks. She survived it only thanks to the support of her loved ones who accompanied her behind the scenes. β€œIt was too much to keep it in while I was on stage pretending everything was fine,” she recalled.

Hathaway has previously shared her difficulties in trying to get pregnant, willingly educated about infertility and supported fans with similar experiences by publishing encouraging content on Instagram. She did the same when she announced that she was expecting her second child.
