One day she met him at the Mozaika café, where he showed up completely unaware of what was really waiting for him. Waiting for him at the table was not only his parent, but also her friend and an unknown blonde woman. As soon as he saw her, he felt that she was the woman of his life. – Then I thought that this was the woman with whom I could create a family and have children – after many years for “Nasz Kolporter”. He immediately found a common ground with Joanna, because that was her name, a talented computer programmer, and they decided to meet again, and that’s how it began.

When they got married, they had only known each other for a year. They have been a close-knit couple for over 40 years

Already in 1981, the couple got married, and in the following years their family expanded by two children, daughter Hanna and son Michał. The actor has never hidden that he owes his family happiness mainly to his wife. She was the one who took care of raising the children and taking care of the house, while he focused on his career. As he himself admitted, there were moments when he was almost completely absent from their lives because he was constantly on the sets. – I am aware that I overstretched myself. It happened that I was a guest at home due to professional commitments and because I had a lot of friends with whom I met in the city – he said remorsefully, adding that his beloved always supported him and did not reproach him. – Fortunately, I have a wonderful wife, and the success of our marriage is mainly due to her – declared Buczkowski.

Although the actor tries to protect his privacy, he always presents his wife in superlatives, emphasizing that it was thanks to her that he was able to fulfill his professional career. – Jola is very important to me and I owe a lot to her. The couple’s children are already adults, the daughter works in economics and the son is a lawyer, both of them also have their own families. The actor and his wife are trying to make up for the time they missed in their youth. They travel willingly, visiting new corners of the world every now and then, and they encourage others not to stay at home in retirement, but to explore and do what they denied themselves in their youth. – I like to travel.
