Marek Czy¿ briefly about those accusing the lack of “clean water” in “19.30”. “Stupid people” [TYLKO U NAS]

He was the first to announce that the PiS propaganda mouthpiece “Wiadomości” would not return to the airwaves in its old form. Instead, he promised viewers a new quality, much more neutral and similar to “pure water” instead of the “murky soup” presented on the air for the previous eight years.

, where in an extensive interview he also addressed the critics of “19.30”. The program is accused of being boring to modern television – a killer. But there are also voices that calming political emotions on air is only to the benefit of the ruling parties.

Marek Czyż repels the attacks of critics

The “old” TVP was dominated by the only correct government narrative. Everything the opposition did was inherently bad, and everything the government did was good. This approach alienated a large part of the center-left viewers from Telewizja Polska, who no longer found their representatives in the public media. After the elections, this changed – in “19.30” political topics are discussed, but this time the parties have relatively equal opportunities to express themselves. There are fewer personal comments towards politicians, and experts from various circles speak more often – including those that have not had access to public media for eight years. For PiS viewers-voters, this is a powerful change in the narrative and they may feel that their worldview is under attack – they have to confront other views of reality, which is not necessarily comfortable.

It’s no wonder that such people can say that not much has come out of the “clean water” postulated in “19.30” – the change in the narrative also gave a voice to those who had not heard before, which gives the impression that these groups are suddenly “favored.” However, Marek Czyż has no mercy for this approach:

The clean water we proposed contains the idea of ​​showing the difference between what was and what is. If someone thinks that Czyż promised clean water and there is no clean water and is a liar, I don’t want to talk to him because he is an idiot. He is an idiot because someone who does not see the differences between these liquids is simply an idiot or has bad will and it is not worth entering into any discussion with him. These two worlds differ dramatically, very clearly and very decisively. We certainly offer a different quality than what it used to be. And in this sense it IS clean water and I will insist on it – he says in an interview with Kultura.gazeta.pl
