Irena Santor is recovering after surgery she underwent a few weeks ago. The artist moved into the House of Veteran Artists of Polish Stages in Skolimów, where she can count on professional care and assistance.

At the end of February, Irena Santor went to one of the hospitals in Warsaw, where she underwent surgery to remove kidney stones. The pain they caused had been making itself felt for a long time, so the artist decided to undergo the procedure. In an interview with “Super Express”, the singer informed that she was feeling better and was slowly recovering. “I am already regaining my strength. I am under the care of wonderful doctors and friends on whom I can always count,” she said.

Irena Santor moved to a nursing home

As it turned out, during her recovery after the procedure, Irena Santor moved to the Home of Veteran Artists of Polish Stages in Skolimów. “I came to Skolimów for a few weeks. I’m recovering here after the surgery I underwent. There is a beautiful garden here, where I walk with my friends. We pick up our poles and walk. The artist’s house in Skolimów is a wonderful place, worth recommending,” she reported. “Super Express”. Previously, the singer lived in the center with her partner Zbigniew Korpolewski. Due to the painful memories, the artist was assigned a different room than the last one.

Irena Santor retired from music in 2021. Despite this, after her career ended, she was still active in the artistic world. Two years ago, the last song “Three Trees” recorded by the singer in a duet with Michał Bajor was released. A few months ago, the artist gave an interview to “Super Express”, in which she assured that she felt good: “I’m doing great. I don’t complain about my health, but I don’t have that much strength to perform and give concerts with a full repertoire.”
