Kurski responded to the prosecutor’s notification from TVP. He mocks the new authorities: A desperate attempt

Jacek Kurski referred to TVP’s notification, which the television station sent to the prosecutor’s office. The document concerns irregularities in the company’s operations during the politician’s presidency. This one doesn’t seem to care about the situation. He mocks the content of the Polish Television’s announcement.

“On March 21 this year, Telewizja Polska SA in liquidation submitted a notification to the prosecutor’s office regarding a number of irregularities in concluding contracts involving multi-million liabilities, which could have exposed TVP to great damage,” Telewizja Polska reported in a statement a few days ago. “This is the result of ongoing inspection activities carried out in the Company,” we read in the statement.

Jacek Kurski was the president of the management board of Telewizja Polska in the years 2016–2020 and 2020–2022, and TVP does not rule out that the notification about the possibility of committing a crime will be supplemented with further threads. A detailed inspection and analysis of the documentation is underway at Telewizja Polska. The former president of TVP commented on the allegations in an interview with Press.pl.

“I have received information – I have listened to two such testimonies myself – that various people are being suggested to falsely accuse the previous authorities of Telewizja in exchange for maintaining employment at TVP or lucrative production orders,” says Kurski, suggesting fraud on the part of the new authorities of Telewizja Polski.

“Despite this, no real, specific abuses were found. It’s hard to find something that wasn’t there,” he emphasizes confidently. The former president of TVP does not seem to take the allegations seriously. He claims that they are only intended to “improve the authors’ mood.” Additionally, he once again calls the current TVP authorities “usurper” and the Minister of Culture BartÅ‚omiej Sienkiewicz – a colonel.

“There is even a shameful construction that these are actions ‘sponsored by former president Kurski’. That is, not even mine, but endorsed. A desperate attempt to force anything,” says the former president of TVP.
