Emilian Kamiński died on December 26, 2022, at the age of 70. Just a few months earlier, the actor announced that he had undergone serious surgery to help with breathing problems. Despite health problems, the artist remained professionally active. He ran the Kamienica Theater with passion and also appeared in the series “M jak miłość”, where he played the role of Wojciech Marszałek, the father of the character played by Anna Mucha for years.

Apparently he didn’t want to worry anyone or force anyone to receive special treatment. His wife, who appeared with Olaf Lubaszenko and Patrycja Pawlik, the author of the actor’s biography, in “Dzień Dobry TVN” talked about the actor’s attitude.

“I didn’t really know, although I obviously felt that something was happening. He conveyed it to me non-verbally. I remember a conversation in which I asked if there was anything else he wanted to tell me. He looked at me for a long time and said: ‘No, no, everything will be fine’. I think that’s how he mentioned it,” said Kamiński’s friend. Lubaszenko had a close relationship with Kamiński, but as you can see, even he did not realize what the actor was going through. He found out about his illness late.

He drew strength from work and played until the end

“He didn’t let on that anything bad was happening,” she confirmed in Pawlik. In turn, Justyna Sieńńczyło, Kamiński’s wife, emphasized that work was very important to her husband. He drew strength and hope from her, which is why he didn’t want other actors to know what he was struggling with.
