On March 26, 2024, the prosecutor’s office and the Internal Security Agency entered the houses of the former Minister of Justice, deputy ministers and the MP of Sovereign Poland on the order of the investigative team for the Justice Fund. The searches were reported by the most important media in the country, including: TVN station, which continued to discuss the topic also in the main news editions.

The scandal was also the subject of discussion in the journalistic program “Fakty po Faktach” (available at ), which was broadcast on the same day. he hosted Dariusz Joński and Arkadiusz Mularczyk, and started the conversation by asking about the scandal related to the use of funds from the Justice Fund. – The spokesman for the national prosecutor’s office said that in the area of interest of the investigation we are talking about a sum of over PLN 280 million and competition rigging – said the presenter to the PiS politician. However, he responded evasively and completely changed the topic, which the host did not fail to point out. He stated that Mularczyk was exercising his right to free speech, thus trying to divert attention from the real problem.
It is worth mentioning that there were also technical problems during which the politician’s statements reached the studio with a significant delay. For this reason, the host of the program often interrupted him mid-sentence, accusing him of not responding to the issues raised. – Do you not know whether you think that everyone is innocent? – he asked irritably. Finally, the cup of bitterness overflowed.

After the presenter’s comments, Mularczyk quickly retaliated, accusing TVN of acting against the public due to the upcoming local government elections. He even stated that there were only Republic Television cameras under Zbigniew Ziobro’s house, where the search took place. This particularly amused his interlocutors. Kraśko noticed that TVN broadcast the event live and ironically stated that it certainly did not do it using the courtesy of the competition. – Were you there in front of Zbigniew Ziobro’s house? Haven’t you seen TVN only in the Telewizja Republika staff? – he asked, becoming more and more discouraged.
The party politician did not answer the question, still sticking to his position and continuing his argument. As soon as the presenter tried to speak, he immediately interrupted him, using arguments completely unrelated to the topic, including: referring to the takeover of public television by Donald Tusk’s coalition. – You really won’t say one sentence in defense of the Justice Fund? – Kraśko asked, not hiding his amusement. Mularczyk continued the monologue unmoved, preventing the others in the studio from discussing it. After a short while and several reminders, he was finally silenced.
