Polsat caught wind of the opportunity and is producing its own Easter concert. “Hard Party”

Easter concert with Polish stars, this time on Polsat

However, in addition to foreign artists, Telewizja Polska also offered viewers performances by Polish stars. The Easter Concert of Good Hope, which in 2021 featured Alicja Majewska, Piotr Cugowski, Staszek Karpiel-Bułecka, Roksana Węgiel, Pectus and Eleni, attracted considerable interest. In subsequent years, the station broadcast replays of the solemn event, and it will be the same this year. The concert can be watched on Sunday, March 31 on TVP Polonia.

However, there is no information about new concerts organized on the occasion of Easter by TVP. Polish Television is promoting the event “Who’s calling us – 70 years of GOPR”, which will feature local stars. On March 27, the anniversary of the Mountain Volunteer Emergency Service will be honored by OST R, Tomasz Organek, Maria Peszek, Natalia Szroeder, Kayah and Kwiat Jabłoni. The show is a charity event. The income from ticket sales will be entirely allocated to the treatment of GOPR rescuers who risk their lives while helping in the mountains.

Polsat noticed an opportunity during the break in organizing Easter concerts by TVP. The station, wanting to attract viewers who eagerly watched Christmas performances of Polish stars, will broadcast the show “Passion: Mystery of the Passion of the Lord” on Good Friday this year.

“Now Polsat will serve the needs of Catholics”

The artists will perform 12 passion songs on stage, and their performances will be illustrated by fragments of the Mystery of the Passion of the Lord, performed in the scenery of the Calvary paths, which are organized every year by the brothers from the Bernardine monastery. The concert will take on the character of the Stations of the Cross, and the actor Adam Woronowicz has been chosen as its narrator, who will read a reflection in each scene.

During the concert, we will hear stars such as Roxie Węgiel, Justyna Steczkowska, Halina Mlynkova, Grzegorz Hyży, Kamil Bednarek, Piotr Cugowski and Andrzej Lampert. The show is directed by Halina Przebinda, who co-wrote the script for the unique concert with Jan Mrowiec.

Information about the concert was shared by the author of the blog, podcast and YouTube channel about religion, Lekcjareligiipl. “Nothing is lost in nature – such things have ended on TVP, now Polsat will serve the needs of Catholics,” we read in the post.
