Arleta Bojke disappears from TVP after 20 years. He already has another job

She started working at Telewizja Polska in 2004. 10 years later she was awarded the Wiktor award for journalist of the year. For “Wiadomości” she reported on such events as Ali Agca’s release from prison, the detention of Roman Polañski in Switzerland, the trial of Joseph Fritzl in Austria, and elections in Germany, Russia and Ukraine. For several years she was a correspondent from Moscow – including: at the time of the Smolensk disaster. In 2015, she was nominated in the reportage category (for her reportage from Ukraine entitled “We Were Brothers”) for the Grand Press Award.

Arleta Bojke joined TVP as an intern, but after two decades with one employer, it was time for a change. The journalist joins Channel Zero. This information was announced by Krzysztof Stanowski on Twitter.

“From April, we will be joined by an excellent journalist, Arleta Bojke. I am very happy about this cooperation,” he wrote. At the same time, he mentioned that this was not the end of transfers to his channel.

When Stanowski’s YouTube channel was launched in February this year, many people pointed out that it lacked women. When asked by a Wirtualne Media journalist whether there would be more of them, he replied: I am in favor of full equality. If someone shows me a woman who knows war better than General Andrzejczak, I will say: “General, I’m sorry, but this woman is better than you.” Similarly, when we find a woman who knows film better than Tomasz Raczek, etc. I really don’t have any problems with it.

– It’s not like I’m going to fight for women’s position on YouTube. They have to do it themselves in the media, on YouTube. When a great female specialist in any field appears, I will be the first to look for a telephone number to propose cooperation, added Stanowski.
