The management of TVN Warner Bros. Discovery has officially confirmed the launch date of its new streaming service in Poland, which has been talked about for months. The new Max platform will replace the broadcaster’s existing services, but the offer will be much richer than all current platforms combined.

“Max’s offer will include series, films shown shortly after cinema premieres, documentaries, television programs and international sporting events. Max will provide subscribers with a content library that is more than twice as large as HBO Max. The website will also offer users access to the most popular TV channels in various thematic categories, including news stations TVN24 and CNN,” we read in the press release.

The new streaming service will debut in June. One of the first premieres will be the second season of the HBO Original series “Rod Dragon”, which is scheduled to premiere on June 17. In the future, the platform will also feature the long-awaited Max Original series, such as the second season of “The Thaw” by Xavery Żuławski or “Penguin” and the film “Dune: Part two”.
Additionally, this year Polish Max Original documentaries will debut on the website – “The King of Zanzibar”, “The Skin Hunters” and “Hope” by Martyna Wojciechowska. Max in Poland is also working on two new series productions, the shooting of which will begin soon. The platform will feature the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
Max will offer three basic packages and one additional package. The cheapest is the option with ads
The Max platform will be available in three different packages, with the option of purchasing a monthly or annual subscription. The packages offered will vary in price and scope of content and features. There is also a completely new feature here: the AdLite package, which allows you to use the platform at a lower price, but with ads. Package prices have not been announced yet, but details of the offer have been shared:
Basic package:

Such a service is already known to Polish users of Player, which is a local pioneer in the use of solutions combining cheaper subscriptions with a limited number of displayed advertisements.

- Access to a rich library of live channels, including: news stations – TVN24 and CNN, entertainment stations – TVN, TVN7, children’s stations – Cartoon Network and Cartoonito, as well as sports stations – Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 and reports from the most important sports events, including tennis Grand Slams, Ski Jumping World Cup, Speedway Grand Prix, cycling grand tours, 24 Hours of Le Mans and much more.
