is undoubtedly one of the most popular actors in Poland. He has had many outstanding roles both on stage and on screen. His artistic achievements include productions such as “Pan Tadeusz”, “Sęp”, “Pręgi”, “Nad ½ycie” and “The Witcher”. In turn, TV viewers know him mainly from the series “Na dobre i na evil”, in which he has been playing the role of Professor Andrzej Falkowicz since 2011. It turns out that before he joined the team of the hospital in Leśna Góra, the producers set him a certain condition.
Michał Żebrowski started going gray early. He decided to make it an advantage
In many interviews, Żebrowski emphasized that he was not afraid of the passage of time and intended to age with dignity. He held the same opinion when, shortly after his 40th birthday, he noticed his first gray hair. Although this process was progressing quickly, he was not particularly concerned about it. Eventually, his dark hair was replaced by gray hair, which he claims he feels great in. Many people, just like he himself, believe that it adds to his charm and, contrary to appearances, significantly rejuvenates him. The creators of the series have a slightly different opinion, as they had a specific vision of his character from the very beginning.
Żebrowski talks about the contract with the production of “For Good and for Bad”. They require such a change from him before entering the set
It turns out that the producers of the series knew from the very beginning that the character Żebrowski would play would be much younger than the actor. So they decided that the best way to do it would be to change his hairstyle, so from the very beginning they agreed with him to dye his hair dark before going on set. For this reason, his hairstyle looks completely different on screen than in everyday life.
Although some people would probably feel offended if they were in his position, he approaches it with great distance. He understands that this is what his profession is like and he must be open to various proposals, even if they are not consistent with his private vision or preferences. – If they don’t throw me out, I’ll stay. If they want it, and if there’s enough dye to dye my raven hair in this role, I’ll stay. Why not? – some time ago in the program “Pytanie na śnidanie”.
