After the changes in the functioning of Polish Television began, it was not certain what would happen next with the game show “Va Banque”. However, in mid-January, recordings for new episodes began, the broadcast of which began in February. At that time, Przemysław Babiarz remained the host, but there was talk behind the scenes that his place in the program might soon be taken by someone else.

However, according to the Wirtualne Media portal, the current host of the show resigned from his job. Work on the next episodes has already started, and Radosław Kotarski is the new host. The journalist shared this information himself, because on Wednesday he posted a photo from the game show studio on his Instagram profile. And although he did not provide its name, it was easy to guess what program he was talking about.
“On the board is the name of the program that Radzieniek started running. Any tips? The results will be announced tomorrow,” he wrote on Tuesday. And on Wednesday, in an interview with an industry portal, he confirmed the information that he became the new host of “Va Banque”. Episodes with his participation are to be broadcast on TVP2 from April 2, 2024.
Kotarski has cooperated with TVP in the past. It is still unknown what happened to Babiarz
Radek Kotarski has already worked for TVP2, where he hosted the series “Travels with history”. Recently, it could be watched on TVP Info in the first days after the reactivation of the depoliticized antenna. Additionally, he co-hosted the game show “Only You!” and cooperated with “Pytanie na śnidanie”. He is the founder of the Polimaty channel on YouTube and the owner of Altenberg Publishing House.
It is not known what will happen next with Przemysław Babiarz. The sports journalist has been associated with Polish Television for 30 years. At the end of February, he was supposed to cover the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Glasgow on TVP Sport, but, according to the head of the station, Babiarz had to resign due to health problems. He became the host of “Va Banque” after the program was reactivated in 2020.
