The Easter has arrived in the world of burgers. A sevillian restaurant has opted for La Santa, with a touch of incense and exclusive. They only serve ten a day. “I’m a big brother, and I’ve seen people come out with the hood with the smoke and the smell of incense,” says a diner. The hamburger bun is dipped in milk recreating a torrija it caramelizes. Her sauce keeps a secret. “It has orange peel, lemon peel, cinnamon and sweet wine,” adds the executive director of ‘Monkey Food’, Javi Casillas.

He dessert There is no shortage of them in Seville either. Torrija is the order of the day. There are all kinds, with brioche bread, milk, traditional and with chocolate. But they can also be customized. Another option is the Saeta, with three small French toast which are accompanied with a ball of chocolate. In the Cordoba street, Seville, the incense is shaped like ice cream. “With nuances of cinnamon, vanilla and orange blossom water. It is the flavor of Seville,” says the manager of the ‘Bola’ ice cream parlour. Traditional flavors are reinvented for Easter.
