A Polish artist came up with an unusual idea, which was rejected by the office.
Vito Bambino wanted to name his daughter in an original way. The Civil Registry Office rejected his idea
Mateusz Dopieralski, known under the artistic pseudonym Vito Bambino, recently visited Karina NiciĆska’s “Microphone test”. During the conversation, he revealed the name of his daughter, who was born at the end of February 2024. He and his wife wanted to register three unique names at the Civil Registry Office. However, he was met with refusal by the office staff. – I’m terribly sad about that the Polish office did not allow three names, because I faced such a problem. Was supposed to be Hava Luna Zelda. And it is written as Hava Luna. It’s also nice, and of course we have this Zelda in mind, but it’s not on paper. – said Dopieralski. Pursuant to Art. 59. in the civil status records regarding the choice of a name for the child we read:
The person reporting the birth submits a declaration of choice of no more than two names for the child.

In the same conversation, Vito Bambino explained the origins of the name Hava Luna Zelda. It turns out he came up with the idea with his wife while traveling in the United States. – My wife and I were in San Francisco. We had such a cool situation there and then the name came to us. That’s what we came up with back then. – he explained. The name Hawa has its roots in Arabic culture and means life, while Luna comes from Spanish and means the moon. Zelda is a name of Hebrew origin that means “happiness”.
