Ewa Szykulska’s voice is one of the actress’s greatest assets. However, in her youth, the artist did not like him. They met by accident, when Szykulska’s car broke down and she needed parts. They were together for 17 years before they decided to get married. “I couldn’t wait, so I asked him to marry me. When he agreed, I completed all the formalities related to the wedding in one day,” Szykulska recalled, quoted by Świat Seriali.

Unfortunately, on December 25, 2021, the actress’s beloved died. “On Thursday, December 23, we went for a walk with our dog. My husband bought me flowers for the upcoming name day. On Christmas Eve, he had a very extensive heart attack, it was not Covid-related. He died before dawn on Christmas Day. The heart fell asleep,” she confessed in an interview for “Twój Styl” Szykulska.
“After 44 years of living close to another person, you suddenly have to face life alone. There is an empty space left after my man. It’s not about loneliness, but about this absence. No touch, inability to cuddle your beloved gray head, silence together “- she added.
In November 2023, information about Szykulska’s poor health circulated in the media. The actress was taken to the emergency department of one of Warsaw hospitals. Although her condition was described as serious, the artist declared that she was feeling better and recovering.
