Krzysztof Ziemiec is a well-known Polish journalist who has been associated mainly with Telewizja Polska for the last 20 years. Recently, the media reported that he had left the station. The contract was terminated by mutual consent of the parties. Previously, he worked, among others, at Program III of the Polish Radio, the TVN24 station, where he ran newscasts, and at TV Puls. Over 30 years ago, Krzysztof Ziemiec and his friends went to a carnival party, where he wore a suit borrowed from his uncle. It was then that he first met his future wife, Danuta, who immediately caught his eye. Interestingly, he decided to attract her attention in a rather unusual way – he started the relationship by lying about what he did. – I pretended to be a failure – he admitted in an interview with “”. Even though he was then a student of the Faculty of Environmental Protection Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, he told the brunette he had just met that he was a milk delivery person. – She believed it, which surprised me a bit. But she fell for the hook. And that’s how it started, he said.
They got married after 5 years of dating. “It’s completely natural”
The couple started dating, mainly in Warsaw’s Old Town or on kayaking trips. Even though they bonded almost immediately and were inseparable, they were in no hurry. They said the sacramental “yes” only five years later. Interestingly, the journalist later admitted that he did not remember the circumstances under which he proposed. – It was completely natural that we would stay together until the end of our days, he said. In the following years, their three children were born.

Krzysztof Ziemiec miraculously escaped death. The accident changed his life
Family was very important to the journalist. In 2008, when a pot of paraffin caught fire in their house, causing a fire, first in the kitchen and then in the rest of the building, he decided to take it out without a second thought. – I didn’t think that the pot was red hot and would fall out of my hands. Burning paraffin doused me and the floor – he admitted, quoted by “”. Although he managed to save his wife and children, whom he took outside, he himself suffered greatly. Over 50 percent his body was burned, and doctors fought for his life and later for his fitness. Afterwards, the life of the whole family changed a lot. – After the accident, I am no longer the same person, I look at the world differently. I live deeper – he revealed.
