Although she was very persistent during the last days of the operation of Telewizja Polska in its old form and hosted the last few editions of “Wiadomości” in a row, now you will not find her in vain, for example, on TV Republika, where her former boss, Danuta Holecka, invites viewers to watch “real Polish news” .
In February, she resigned, and TVP replied: it was ineffective.
The former TVP star remained silent for a long time. At the end of February, she reportedly resigned, which she told in an interview with . – Ultimately, I decided to give my notice to the television station because the suspension had been going on for too long and was not heading in any sensible direction. At the end of February, I sent my notice of termination and received confirmation that it had been received by TVP, she said.
Lewandowska also admitted that she had a three-month notice period and could not decide which job offer to accept because there were so many of them. – I have a lot of different options, I’m still thinking about them. To be honest, I can’t finally decide, she admitted.
However, Telewizja Polska has a different opinion on this matter. The editorial office received an e-mail from the TVP Information Center in which the broadcaster denies “false content provided by Mrs. Edyta Lewandowska:
Due to the false content provided by Mrs. Edyta Lewandowska in an article on the website www.wirtualnemedia.pl, which concerns the procedure and date of separation from her by Telewizja Polska SA in liquidation, we would like to inform you that the final termination of cooperation took place as a result of a unilateral decision of TVP, which terminated the contract with Mrs. Edyta Lewandowska without notice. The notice of termination submitted by Mrs. Edyta Lewandowska was ineffective – it was submitted after the contract was terminated by TVP – we read.

Edyta Lewandowska herself also commented on the content of the message and was again contacted by the portal. – I regret that TVP informs me about its plans through the media. TVP insisted on terminating the contract by mutual consent. Unfortunately, the lawyer who claimed to represent the liquidator was unable to provide a power of attorney. The matter was dragging on, so I decided that the best solution would be to terminate the contract, she said.
– If TVP wanted to terminate my contract, a delay of several months made no sense. Additionally, it exposed me to the need to make difficult decisions. I’m sorry that things turned out this way – said the former presenter of “Wiadomości”.
