The Mummies, Les Greene and Los Sírex join this year’s Azkena Rock Festival, within the programming of the Trashville tent, “a festival within the festival as its organizers define it.”

At the head of the Trashville bill are The Mummies with “a show with a challenging sound that had a strong influence, from California, on the ‘garage punk’ of the 90s.”

Les Greene will bring the sounds of the 60s to Vitoria with a mix of soul, funk and R&B.

And the very veteran Los Sírex will also be in the tent, a Spanish band that emerged in 1959 whose song “If I had a broom” was a huge success in its time.

During the three days of Azkena Rock Festival, proposals from Jo Carley and The Old Dry Skulls and the Belgian guitarist Ghalia Volt will also pass through the main Trashville tent.

The Bank Robbers and the Madrid trio Tiburona will also offer their concerts.

The Trashville stage is part of the Azkena Rock festival, which this year will feature, among others, Jane’s Addiction, who will play on the 20th; Queens Of The Stone Age, who will do it on the 21st; and Band of Horses and Sheryl Crow, who will perform on the 22nd.
