Errobi returns for a concert on May 4 in Bilbao

The historic folk and progressive rock group Errobi will offer a special concert on May 4 in Bilbao to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its emergence. The band returns with two of its founders, Anje Duhalde and Mixel Ducau, at the helm for a special concert to be held at the Euskalduna Palace starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are now on sale for 30 euros (plus administration fees).

Along with the two main components, who are in charge of voices and guitars (Duhalde will focus more on singing, because osteoarthritis makes it difficult for him to play the guitar), Txomin Duhalde will be on stage on drums, Iñigo Telletxea on bass and Rémi Gachis also on guitar, regular accompaniment to Duhalde’s band.

Errobi was a Basque progressive pop rock group from Lapurdi, founded in 1973 by its two current leaders, Anje Duhalde and Mikel Ducau. The band remained active until 1985, when they published their last album Agur t’erdi.

At the presentation of the album, Duhalde explained that “the doors are open” in case there is a greater demand to extend the return. They have already started rehearsing, and the songs will sound “renewed.”
