In her honor, the 80’s star Larry Bonville wrote the song “The Fire Inside”, the group Big Cyc also sang about her in their mocking song “Kręcimy pornola”, in which the musicians fantasized about making films for adults in home conditions. Teresa Orlowski, because this is the star we are talking about, wanted to become a nun, her parents suggested veterinary medicine. Life verified the plans, and the actress became a European porn icon of the 1980s.

Teresa Orlowski was born on July 29, 1953. Most sources mention Dębica as the birthplace of the future star, but Newsweek found out that the actress was born in Lutynia, a village located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. She grew up in Wrocław in a Roman Catholic family. She was very religious.

Apparently Orlowski dreamed of joining a convent. Her faith was so deep that she did not want to listen to her parents’ suggestions about becoming a veterinarian, but life verified the young girl’s plans. According to Onet, after finishing vocational school, Teresa started working in a grocery store and soon married a taxi driver. However, the satisfaction from such a life did not last long. The relationship quickly fell apart.

The reality of functioning in the realities of the Polish People’s Republic tormented the future star. She started dreaming about a trip, colorful clothes and shopping. “At that time, Poland was a gray, communist country where ordinary people had no right to vote. You couldn’t do anything. I wanted a different life,” admitted the actress years later, quoted by Interia.

Orlowski stood out for her beauty, charisma and temperament. “People say that when she walked down the street, men bumped into poles. That women were jealous of her. That she had a son with some married man. Perhaps that’s why she left behind her business apron, cramped apartment, grayness and envy that she couldn’t She chose a country where it smelled of Peweks and the machines washed the dishes themselves – Ewa Stusińska wrote about Teresa in the book “Miła rótka. Polish crickets, harlequins and porn from satellite”, the words of which are quoted in one of Onet’s articles.

Teresa was aware of her assets and decided to seek her happiness in the West. At the age of 26 she went to Germany. Initially, she planned to spend only holidays there. She learned the basics of the language and worked there as a waitress. At the club, she was noticed by a photographer, Peter Filip.

The man specialized in nudes and suggested a session to Orlowski. Working in conditions requiring great courage and self-confidence turned out to be a real pleasure for the Polish woman. She was natural and aware of her attractiveness. “I’m from Poland. I have my own temperament, I’m always hot,” she said in an interview shown in the documentary “Sex Queens in Las Vegas” quoted by the Wirtualna Polska portal.

Due to his specialization, the newly met photographer had extensive contacts in the adult film industry. Shortly after the first strip session, Orlowski met producer Hans Moser, who specialized in pornography. Soon the duo began to cooperate not only professionally, the couple got married. “Teresa became a porn actress less than a year after arriving in Germany – initially one of many,” Stusińska wrote in the previously mentioned book.

“I know what men want to see and I won’t disappoint them”

This was the moment when VHS tapes were becoming more and more popular. The couple founded their own label, which was one of the first companies specializing in adult material to be managed by a woman. Orlowski quickly became an international star, but she also proved that she had a knack for business. “I know what men want to see and I won’t disappoint them,” she said. She started not only acting in adult films, but also producing, distributing and even directing materials. She gained fame thanks to the series “Fox Lady” distributed on VHS, in which the actress played the main role.

Thanks to the medium, Orlowski earned a fortune, but the era of video cassettes began to end and the actress’s company ran into financial problems. For the Pole, the 1990s also saw the breakdown of her marriage to Moser. However, the woman did not give up and started thinking about new sources of income. She sensed potential in cable television and started her own channel that aired a block of adult films at night. To have access to these productions, you had to pay a subscription.

The idea brought Orlowski another million in profits, but it quickly turned out that her new business was inconsistent with German regulations. At that time, in Germany, showing pornographic films on television was banned. Fearing the consequences, the Pole moved to Spain. He is apparently still enjoying his retirement in sunny Marbella.
