Bread clips are small pieces of plastic that attach to bread bags to keep loaves fresh. As it turns out, their use is not limited to protecting bread from drying out and losing its freshness.

These small, inconspicuous plastic elements can help you with various everyday household tasks, making them much easier. Before you throw them into the trash again, learn about their interesting uses.

Some people don’t know that in emergency situations, the bread clip can be cleverly reused. It is worth having it with you, e.g. in your wallet, pocket or purse.

• If a shoelace frays or cannot be tied properly, a bread clip can act as a temporary lace clip to secure the shoe until the lace is replaced.
• Instead of keeping the cable and headphones in a drawer, creating a tangle of wires that are difficult to manage, reach for a bread clip. Attach it to organize them quickly and stay organized.
• If you are always missing socks at home, you can store them with a bread clip. This way you won’t have a problem finding a pair of them.
• Plant marking. If you want to label your plants or herbs, you can do so with a bread clip.

• You can use a bread clip to repair a temporarily damaged zipper. If it is not positioned correctly and is sliding down, you can attach a bread clip at the top to prevent it from sliding further.
• It can keep your headphones tidy. To use this method, wrap the headphones around the clip, which will hold them securely in place. This little trick will prevent your headphones from getting tangled or slipping off easily.
• Sometimes the middle part comes out of flip-flops known as flip-flops. Instead of looking for another pair of shoes to buy, take a bread clip and slide it under the bottom of your sandal. This will serve as a plug to keep the flaps in place.
