Some time later, the regulations changed and the minimum amount of benefits in Poland was increased, as well as indexation, as a result of which he was finally granted less than PLN 1,000, which was transferred to his account every month. As he found out, the musician’s current pension is approximately PLN 1,700 a month, but in times of rising inflation he is still unable to support himself and has to work. – I wouldn’t be able to survive on what ZUS is kind enough to pay me, so I will have to sing until I die like Mieczysław Fogg – he said in an interview for the portal.
