It is no secret that nowadays Rodowicz does not perform as much as he did years ago, but he still willingly meets fans during various music events and festivals. Her professional time is also intense due to the fact that she was implementing another season of the program in which she sits as a coach. Although her popularity has not waned for decades, she avoids the limelight and rarely appears in public places, and rests in her nearby capital.
Rodowicz never hid that she would like to live in Konstancin. This dream was already fulfilled by her ex-husband, Andrzej Dużyński, who was looking for the perfect property with her in mind. – He knew that Konstancin was my dream. And it was supposed to be a surprise – in one of the interviews. Initially, they planned to buy a plot of land and build a house from scratch, but then the man noticed a hundred-year-old villa. Even though it required a thorough renovation, something about it captivated him and he took up the challenge. – It was a red brick hovel, under renovation, without a roof, bushes around, and a fallen net. But something inspired him and he said: “Yes, that’s what I want,” the artist said years ago. What does her property look like now?
What does Maryla Rodowicz’s villa look like? Not only the garden is impressive
The façade itself makes a spectacular impression, as it is over a hundred years old, and during the renovation, Rodowicz and her then-husband made sure to maintain the style in which it was originally constructed. The building is surrounded by a huge garden with many plants such as palm trees and oleanders, as well as a small private forest. There is a terrace for relaxing, with wicker furniture and large clay pots with flowers.
The interior is, however, impressive and decorated with attention to every detail. The rooms are filled with rich golden decorations, stucco and stylish furniture. Light, warm colors dominate, such as white, beige, brown and gray, but there are also stronger accents, e.g. burgundy.
There are large crystal chandeliers hanging on the ceilings, which give the whole a unique atmosphere. Velor accessories and furniture upholstery are also characteristic, especially chairs in the dining room and sofas in the living room. There are plenty of flowers and animals throughout the house – the artist has several cats – as well as corners for playing music and instruments.
The kitchen, where the singer spends a lot of time, is also very impressive. The room is decorated in an eclectic style. Furniture with light fronts is decorated with cutters and delicate gold handles, and the whole is complemented by dark rooms, marble tiles on the wall and retro fittings.
