Many believe that acting is in Zborowski’s blood, as he was not the first in his family to take up this profession. His maternal grandparents worked in amateur theater and that’s where their paths crossed. Later, this passion was also inherited by their son, one of the most outstanding Polish comedians, known for productions such as “Hallo Szpicbródka, i.e. the last performance of the king of moneymakers” or “Zmiennicy”. It was he who noticed his nephew’s talent and predispositions and got him his first role in the theater. – I introduced him to the stage in the play “Rewolwer” by Fredro, directed by Maria Wiercińska. Although Wiktor Zborowski dreamed of a sports career, eventually, at his uncle’s encouragement, he took the exams for the Warsaw theater school, which brought him not only fulfillment, but also love. During fencing lessons, he met , whom he married in April 1976 after 6 years of relationship. Together they had two daughters, Hanna and Zofia, who followed in their professional footsteps. Few people know, however, that on the day they swore undying love and fidelity to each other, another acting couple also got married. We are talking about the artist’s sister, Barbara Winiarska, and her lover, and privately friend Zborowski, who also met within the walls of the Theater Academy.
The Winiarskie sisters started their careers together and made their debut on stage together. Their professional paths diverged when the Wawrzeckis’ daughter, Anna, was born, suffering from cerebral palsy from birth. Then the actress decided to put her career on hold and devoted herself fully to caring for her. However, fate was not kind to her, because in September 2002 she died from a brain aneurysm. Then Paweł Wawrzecki, known, among others, as Wiesław Gabriel from or Doctor Roman Kidler from the series “Daleko od noszy”, he could count on the support of her relatives. Wiktor Zborowski especially showed him a hand of friendship, with whom he remains in cordial relations to this day.
