Mistakes involving hosts have been, are and will be an integral part of live programs. On Thursday, February 29, viewers of “Dzień Dobry TVN” found out about it. A pair of experienced presenters, Ewa Drzyzga and Krzysztof Skórzyński, had to face technical problems that disturbed the peace in the studio for a moment. Later, more problems appeared.
A series of blunders in “Dzień Dobry TVN”
The first situation occurred just after the program began, when the hosts announced the weather forecast. It quickly turned out that the presenter in the field could not hear what was happening in the studio. “I can read her lips that she can’t hear. We can wave at her. Talk about these sheep – it doesn’t matter if you can’t hear. Just do your duty. Come on, you’re on the air,” said Ewa Drzyzga. However, the journalist’s encouragements did not bring the expected result, so the producers of “DDTVN” decided to omit this part of the program. Krzysztof Skórzyński tried to alleviate the situation, talking about the charms of breakfast television: “Listen, a lot of such things have happened to us in the history of television. This is live television. This was the best proof that it is live television.”
A little later, osteopath Tomasz Jurkiewicz came to the studio. The conversation with the guest was supposed to concern the spring equinox and the pain associated with it. “Dear doctor, when can we get a headache?” – Krzysztof Skórzyński started, but the guest’s answer caught him a bit off guard. “First of all, let me correct you a little – I am far from a PhD. I do not have a scientific title,” replied Tomasz Jurkiewicz. This minor mistake, unlike the previous one, did not affect the further course of the conversation in the studio.
