On Thursday, February 29, Miłosz Kłeczek discussed on TV Republika with politicians of Poland 2050 – Kamil Wnuk and Law and Justice – Anna Kwiecień. The topics of conversation included the recent farmers’ strike. According to WP, Kłeczek emphasized on air that his colleagues from the station were not allowed to attend Donald Tusk’s conference.
“We shouldn’t be wondering now who entered and who didn’t, but how to solve this matter. And it is the actions you are taking now that are dividing farmers,” Wnuk pointed out to the journalist. The politician did not like Kłeczek’s question, which included the thesis that the current prime minister divides not only farmers, but the entire Polish society.

The journalist did not like this remark and immediately interrupted the guest, who could not speak for a long time. The host’s speech was audible on air. “I’m sorry, I’m taking actions that divide farmers? You know what, you’re impertinent, really,” he said indignantly and repeated the fragment about Wnuk’s impudence again.
“We, as Telewizja Republika, cover the entire farmers’ protests. We give farmers several hours of air time, even all day long. They say what they want, they say what they think. No one censors it, no one cuts it out, no one manipulates this message. That’s why farmers want talk to journalists from Telewizja Republika and they also watch our programs. You won’t see this on commercial television,” Kłeczek said and did not let Wnuk say a word.
When the politician tried to explain that the topic of discussion should be the agreement with farmers, not which media were allowed to talk to the Prime Minister, Kłeczek spoke up again. Then the presenter focused on the discussion with a PiS MP who shared his position.
