There are three lines of odd numbers in the puzzle: the first is three 1s, the second is three 7s, the third is three 9s. Many people said that it is impossible to get the number 20 from this combination because the result will always be odd. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was not without reason that the tiktoker advised to listen to his words. The key to solving the task is to distinguish the terms “digit” and “number”. It’s about the sum of the remaining numbers, not the digits. If you cross out the first 1, then all the 7s and the two 9s, you’ll be left with 11 and 9. When you add them together, you’ll get 20.
