Maciej Stuhr, who is the editor-in-chief of the program, is involved in the project, and “Autentyczny” is also accompanied by a nationwide media educational campaign about people on the autism spectrum.

In the last episode, the guest of the program was Mata, who is one of the most popular rappers of the young generation. The artist rarely gives interviews and prefers to convey his opinions through the lyrics in his works. This time, however, he made an exception because he said that the “Autentyczni” program is interesting and the form of conversation is certainly less stressful than a standard interview.
Young journalists asked the rapper a lot of questions. Including some that Mata has not heard from reporters so far, including: about love, parents or attitude to faith. The 23-year-old confessed that when he was a little boy, he was very religious and had a strong relationship with God. However, he admitted that it stopped getting worse with age.
– I’m less religious than I used to be. In primary school, I was a strongly religious person. I went to church practically every day. I felt that my faith was the strongest and every day I felt God’s presence, I was 1000 percent sure that God was and was with me. But over time I started to lose this faith, he admitted. However, the program participants were persistent and asked for details.
It seems to me that I began to see more evil in the world, I also began to see this evil in the church institutions with which I was associated. “It weakened my faith,” he said.

However, on the rapper’s latest album you can hear songs whose lyrics contain references to religion. However, during a conversation in the “Autentyczni” program, he admitted that he now lacks faith in his life.
– About half a year ago I felt that I had come to the end of a long, dark period of my life, where I felt that I had become far away from God. I decided I wanted to get back close to him. Therefore, I wrote the album “<33", where on the cover there is a photo of my mother and me, which symbolizes Pieta. And the entire album is made in the form of the Stations of the Cross, he explained.
– Many people perceived it as my complete retreat from religion, almost as some Satanic act, but on my part it was an attempt to redefine all these values, this essence of love, which is Christianity and Jesus. It was an attempt to rename it and find it within myself. This album allowed me to convert in a way, to find these values and ideas close to me, he concluded.
