The Puerto Rican rapper Resident has presented her new single and video, ‘313’, in which she pays tribute to time, which features the participation of the renowned Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and a performance by the Spanish singer Silvia Perez Cruz.
‘313’, released several hours after Residente publishes his new production, ‘Las Letras Ya No Importan’, is an audiovisual piece “that means a call to express every moment that life offers us since there is no life without time” , as detailed by the artist’s representatives in a press release. The music video begins with a narration of Cruz in the garden of the San Ildefonso Farm in SegoviaSpain, sharing what it represents life and time.
Several dancers, directed by choreographer Juliano Nunes, they join in the images floating in the air, symbolizing that they are frozen in time. A window floating in the air gives life to Cruz. The actress remains motionless in her space until a dozen dancers begin to emerge from her body. Little by little, Cruz begins to move, thanks to time.
The dancers, for their part, represent time. Upon appearing, a choreographic discharge occurs between all the dancers who are responsible for reproducing the living being performed by Residente. Next, one of the dancers takes away Residente’s voice, and the dancers pass the voice on to give it to the actress.
In the video, Penelope Cruz begins to narrate in the voice of Resident at the same time he moves his arms, controlling every movement of the singer’s body.
