At the beginning of October last year, just before the parliamentary elections, the Polish Internet was shaken by Pandora Gate. The person behind the disclosure of the pedophilia scandal is the popular YouTuber Sylwester Wardęga, who published a video titled “The Dark Secrets of Stuu and YouTubers: Pandora Gate (Boxdel, Dubiel, Fagata)”, in which he attacks the most popular Internet creators of the young generation. He accused them of, among other things, for immoral behavior towards girls under 15 years of age.
Production work is in progress. But when will we be able to see Staśko and Sadowska’s series?
The most serious charges were leveled against Stuart “Stuu” Kluza-Burton, who, pursuant to a court decision, was temporarily arrested and detained. Many public figures began to comment on the whole matter. One of such people is activist Maja Staśko, who .
The initiative came from a famous singer and director. Now, in an interview with the portal, she revealed what stage the project is at. It also turned out that it would not be a film, but a five-episode series. The script is expected to be written this year and filming will begin next year.
Our goal is to make a five-episode series, because the issue is complex and has many interesting characters. We would not like to do it superficially, but to approach this issue in many layers. Each episode will tell the story of a different character, and all the stories will connect in the finale, in the fifth episode, which will take place during freak fights – admitted Sadowska.
The author of the conversation indicates that this means that the series will most likely premiere on a streaming service or on television. Maja Staśko, in turn, admitted that they are still working on the plot, but they already have “a large outline and characters.” Moreover, Sadowska admitted that financing for the project was not yet guaranteed, but said that there was great interest in the film and that she was in talks with potential producers.
