Maryla Rodowicz complains about money problems

In an interview with Pomponik, the artist admitted that money is a problematic topic. However, it started with a question about a possible lottery win. What would Maryla Rodowicz do with big money if she suddenly had access to it?

I would pass it right away. I haven’t done any shopping for quite a few years because I mainly think about bills. I didn’t buy clothes, she admitted.

Just as quickly, she went from having trouble thinking only about bills to considering vacation destinations. Maryla Rodowicz dreams of a great place – “I would take the children and go to the Maldives. It is a very expensive destination. Renting a house is a lot of money a day, plus dinners with a view of the sea, a table on the beach… I would like to have such a fancy place. go on vacation. I haven’t been on vacation for quite a few years!” – said Maryla Rodowicz.

Maryla Rodowicz’s starvation retirement

In fact, it will be difficult to save even for a campsite, because the artist has actually earned a minimum pension over the years of work. “Super Express” calculated that the artist’s pension may amount to less than PLN 1,700. “What can I say? I have a low pension. In the past it was not an issue at all and that’s why the contributions were low,” said Rodowicz.

The lack of sense of saving the money earned and… the lack of royalties do not help. “I don’t get royalties. I earn as much as I sing with my throat,” the artist explained. No wonder Rodowicz still performs – subsequent concerts are welcome cash injections.
