She won the 5th edition of “The Voice Senior”. Now he speaks directly. “The program saved my life”

The winner of the 5th edition of “The Voice Senior” was Regina Rosłaniec Bavcevic. From the very beginning, the singer delighted with her voice and optimistic attitude to life, although this did not spoil her at all. In an interview she gave right after winning, she admitted that the program saved her life. What did she mean?

The grand finale of the 5th edition of “The Voice Senior” is behind us (available at ), in which the Best Voice statuette and a prize of PLN 50,000 are behind us. PLN went to Regina Rosłaniec Bavcevic from the team. The participant already showed great vocal skills as a child, but her professional adventure with music began only during her studies.

During the student song festival in Krakow, Ms. Regina’s voice delighted her and Marek Grechuta. This way, she was offered a contract to perform in hotels in Yugoslavia, which was a dream come true. She hoped that it would change her life, but she did not foresee such a scenario. During a concert in Split, a certain Croatian caught her eye and she fell in love with each other. It was for him that she left her homeland and moved to Croatia, partially abandoning her dreams of a great career.

As she revealed in an interview for , she does not intend to leave the Balkan country even after winning the program, mainly because of love. She has lived with her husband for over four decades, but fate did not spoil them. In 2013, the couple was involved in a serious accident in which a man died, but they miraculously escaped with their lives. Since then, he has tried to appreciate every moment. – I was born again. It was 2013 at 1 p.m…. And so on. I was going to a concert in Slovenia. All thirteens. I think this is a lucky number for me because I am alive – touched, adding that it was not only this tragic story that changed her life.

After the finale of the program, the participant expressed special thanks to Polish doctors who helped diagnose the ailments she was struggling with. She admitted that she had had problems with walking for a long time, and over time she even completely lost the use of her legs. Specialists from Croatia linked it to the above-mentioned accident, but none of the treatment methods they suggested were effective. -I couldn’t walk. And many doctors didn’t know what was wrong with me, she said.

When she came to Poland for the recordings, she decided to seek help from Polish medics, and they were up to the task. – It turned out that I had a unique disease and that I had to undergo treatment for it for a long time. I am already partially, so to speak, after the procedures and these people helped me a lot – she said, admiring the professionalism of the team from the vascular department of the hospital in Olsztyn. – Maybe that’s why they treated me so well so that I could reach the finals – she added with a laugh. After her emotions subsided, she said that if it weren’t for the talent show, she didn’t know what her life would have been like and she was grateful that she could fulfill her dream and at the same time fight for her recovery and fitness. – Actually, “The Voice” saved my life in the literal sense of the word – she said with emotion in an interview with ShowNews.
