Przemysław Czarnek on the attacks on TV Republika: “She is spat at and persecuted”
On February 18, the evening edition of “real Polish news” was hosted by Jacek Sobala. The News Service first discussed the issue of migrants, then broadcast material about the death of Alexei Navalny, and then mentioned the farmers’ protest. Later, viewers saw a fragment of Przemysław Czarnek’s speech, in which the former Minister of Education talked about “attacks on TV Republika and the role it currently plays.” He also encouraged financial support for the station.
“Telewizja Republika is being spat at, it is being persecuted, you can safely say. It is denied advertising just because it tells the truth… Lots of people are already watching it, but it needs to be supported, also financially. It is our responsibility to support television, also financially. Exactly the same how we support Telewizja Trwam, Radio Maryja and all the media that reach us with free speech,” said Przemysław Czarnek during a meeting with the inhabitants of Podlasie cities.
