The star has repeatedly emphasized that she is in good health, thanks to which she can still perform in front of the audience. Although the artist was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000, the accurate diagnosis allowed for surgery, after which Santor quickly recovered.

“Super Express” reports that the singer has recently been suffering from ailments caused by kidney stones. As a result, she had to undergo a scheduled procedure. The operation was performed by doctors from one of Warsaw’s hospitals. According to a person close to the singer, Irena Santor tolerated the surgery well and is slowly recovering. “Everything went well. Irenka is already regaining strength and feeling better and better” – said the informant of “Super Express”.
After ending her career in 2021, Irena Santor continued to actively participate in public life. Two years ago, the last song “Three Trees” recorded by the singer in a duet with Michał Bajor was released. In turn, a few months ago, the artist gave an interview to “Super Express”, in which she assured that she felt good: “I’m doing great. I don’t complain about my health, but I don’t have enough strength to perform, concerts with a full repertoire. I’ve already sung my song.” “Now I want to hear my songs sung by the young generation, and I am also interested in what the contemporary generation has to offer in terms of stage art.”
