Henryk Gołębiewski started as a child. In the 1970s, he appeared in such popular productions as “Abel, Your Brother”, “Holidays with Ghosts”, “Journey for One Smile” and “Bet on Tolka Banana”. The actor never hid the fact that he had to supplement his acting salary. He worked on renovations, and during the pandemic he took on odd jobs. – For example, I was a locksmith, and for 1.5 years I was installing air conditioners with a friend, also an actor – in one of the interviews. He has been on the bandwagon for several years, but he hasn’t given up playing. Unlike other colleagues in the industry, he does not complain about the amount of benefits.
Until 2021, he appeared in “Świat dla Kiepskich”, today you can watch, among others, in the production “Pawnshop. Życie pod zastaw”, in which he has been playing the role of Ziutek since 2017. In addition, he still appears in minor roles in films and series. He lives with his wife and teenage daughter in an apartment in Warsaw’s Mokotów district. – We are 51 meters long, there are three people, they will fit in and there is less cleaning to do. I know every corner, and we live next to the subway, so we don’t even need a car – in an interview with “Świat i Młodych”.

Taking on new roles is not only a pleasure for Henryk Gołębiewski. Thanks to this, the actor can supplement his modest pension. Recently, in an interview with “Życie na hot”, he revealed how much the monthly benefit he receives is. The 68-year-old did not hide his surprise at the amount, because he expected it to be… significantly lower. – I am already retired and I receive PLN 1,600 a month, which still surprised me, because I thought I would receive a maximum of PLN 500 – . Still, not for a difficult financial situation. – One month I earn a little more, the next less, and somehow it all works out. I have a roof over my head, my bills are paid, and I have something to put into the pot, he added.
