Contrary to assumptions, Judyta’s house was not rented for the purposes of the film, as is often the case, but was actually built from scratch. It was built on a plot in Goławice near Pomiechówek, i.e. in the town where the vast majority of the photos for “Never in Life” were taken. Fans have been guessing about its fate for years, and information regularly appeared in the media that it had been sold and was owned by people unrelated to the film industry. However, it turned out that this had nothing to do with the truth.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the film, the main roles appeared in the “Dzień Dobry TVN” studio: Joanna Brodzik and Joanna Jabłczyńska. During the conversation, they talked about what working on the set was like and finally decided to put an end to the wave of speculation. They revealed what really happened to the main character’s house. – This house was actually built before our eyes in the film with the main character in mind, it was all recorded in Pomiechówek in Masovia, specifically in the village of Goławice on the Wkra River – the host, Mateusz Hładki. – Well, this house was demolished after the shooting – he revealed, which was also confirmed by the actresses. However, this is not an isolated case. Earlier, the fate of the manor from the film, which was also part of the set design, was similar.
