February 2024 can be considered record warm for now. Like , usually at this time of year we should expect average maximums ranging from -0.2 degrees to 5 degrees Celsius. At least this is what follows from the analysis of average maximum temperatures in the years 1991-2020. Meanwhile, the forecasts for February 16 are completely different. Only residents of northern Poland can expect clouds and light rainfall. In other parts of the country it will be sunny and exceptionally spring-like.

Saturday, February 17, it will be rainy throughout Poland, and the maximum temperature will range from 6 degrees in the north through about 10 degrees in the center to 12 degrees in the south. At night the temperature will drop significantly, which means icing.
On Sunday, there will be snow in the southeast, although the daytime temperature will be slightly higher, from 4 degrees in the north to 9 degrees in the west. In the following days, temperatures will drop, especially in the morning, and there will also be snowfall and sleet.
There is also good news. At the end of next week, thermometers will start to show higher temperatures, from 2 degrees Celsius in the north-east (February 21 and 22) through approx. 6-8 degrees in the center of the country (February 21-23) to 11 degrees Celsius in the south and west (February 23).
