The Vasco de Vitoria Film Week becomes Zinemastea for its 40th anniversary

On its fortieth anniversary, the Vitoria-Gasteiz Basque Cinema Week arrives renewed and with a new name: Zinemastea. This year, the series will take place between February 23 and March 2, and from now on it will only program feature films. In addition, a jury made up of film professionals will choose their favorite film, direction and performances.
In this edition, you can see the winners at the Goya 20,000 species of bees (Estibaliz Urresola), Robot Dreams (Pablo Berger), Close the eyes (Victor Erice) and Or howin addition to The good companies (Silvia Munt), The sultana’s dream (Isabel Herguera), Chinese (Arantxa EchevarrÃa), Especially at night (Victor Iriarte), The girls are fine (Itsaso Arana), A not so simple life (Felix Viscarret) and Upon entry.
The screenings will take place at Vital Fundazioa Kulturunea at 7:30 p.m. The price of tickets is 3 euros, and the price of the full pass is 22 euros.
The public will choose their favorite film, and, starting with this edition, a jury made up of film professionals will also choose the best film, direction, script, leading and supporting performance. The awards, with financial prizes, will be presented at the closing gala on March 2, at the Europa Palace.
