Every year, at the Empik Bestsellers gala, awards are given to the best creators in the following categories: book, music, film, audio, Empik discoveries and Internet creator of the year. During this year’s event, Marcin Prokop and Julia Wieniawa announced the statuette in the last category. Before announcing the verdict, the host mentioned Szymon Hołownia, the current Speaker of the Sejm and former host of the “Got Talent” program.

“I have one candidate here – Szymon Hołownia. I think he deserves this award,” Marcin Prokop said from the stage, to which the audience responded with applause. Julia Wieniawa took up the proposal: “Absolutely. I think it would be very possible for him to do it. Maybe next year.”
Ultimately, the award for Internet Creator of the Year went to Adam Mirek. Nine other creators were also nominated in this category: Alicja Defratyka, Doktor z TikTok, Dudek o histori, Globstory, Ola Żebrowska, ORB, Podcastex, Rozkoszny, Ubranie do danie.
Michał FOX Król was responsible for the musical setting of this year’s Empik Bestsellers gala. Famous Polish artists performed on stage: Daria Zawiałow, Brodka, Nosowska, Kortez and Kwiat Jabłoni. The winners included Katarzyna Nosowska, Weronika Anna Marczak, Joanna Kuciel-Frydryszak, Stanisław Pagaczewski, Marcin Myszka, Depeche Mode, Kortez, Taco Hemingway, DK Welchman, Hugh Welchman, Kathia and Małgorzata Lebda.
