In September he came to Poland, or more precisely, to Warsaw. The long-awaited concert took place at Torwar, which resulted in hiccups for the singer. It turned out that he was singing playback. After the event, a fragment showing Iglesias’s “real voice” was posted online. Fans accused him of cheating and claimed that he couldn’t really sing.

The scandal related to the Warsaw concert has grown on a global scale. The American satirist and journalist Howard Stern got involved and presented a fragment with the singer in his program “The Howard Stern Show”. On the tape, Enrique could be heard singing “Rhythm Divine” without playback.

His real voice was very different from the one heard on the radio. – If this tape is really a recording of Iglesias’s voice, it is probably a fragment of his antics with sound engineers – the spokesman. The artist decided to fight for his good name. He approached Stern and offered to appear on his live show. He sang only to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar and thus proved that he could actually sing.
