After concluding the semifinals of the Cádiz Carnival Groups Competition, Nerves were felt at the Falla among the members of groups, authors and the general public who were waiting for the jury’s decision. Finally, four choirs, four troupes, four chirigotas and three quartets have managed to reach the final, the three of which had already gone to the semi-final of this last modality and which does not bring any surprise. Among those who achieved the highest score in the quarterfinals, favorite troupes stand out such as ‘The black sheep’ by Antonio Martínez Ares, one of the most media and controversial authors of the Cádiz carnival, who captured everyone’s attention with his pasodoble in Catalan to the amnesty. He also stands out among the four classified chirigotas ‘The Grinch of Caí’clear favorite of the competition from the start in the preliminaries and who achieved the highest score in his category from one of the alternative juries from the local media.

Now him Friday, January 7 the finalists face each other in the Grand finale that will put the finishing touch to a contest that has made the Gran Teatro Falla in Cádiz vibrate.
