A few years ago it came to light that Barbara Nowacka and Adrian Zandberg were a couple in their youth. When they met, he was 18 and she was 22. It was at the end of the 1990s, during the youth wing of the Labor Union. Years later, the then Minister of Education remained silent in “Duży Format”. Nowacka, which impressed her with a student who was four years her junior. – I was interested in: intellect, knowledge, the ability to use it. I like that about people. He was 18, four years younger, still such a boy. Lively, cheerful, he entertained me heartily. We didn’t live together. He was often late or argued until the end to get his way, and if he didn’t know something, he invented it brilliantly. He once argued heatedly about a quote from Marx, giving the page number and date of publication. Then he admitted with a laugh that there had never been such an edition. But people were fooled. He was big, a bit clumsy, he broke something here, knocked something over there. In all this he is a decent, good man. – she explained.
Their paths crossed many times and they never lost touch. Nowacka helped him find a job
However, their relationship did not stand the test of time and broke up after three years. Nowacka and Zandberg, however, did not completely break off contact. Nowacka helped Zandberg find a job at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, where she served as chancellor and her father was rector. Adrian Zandberg got a job as a lecturer. – Adrian teaches classes here. He has a doctorate in history, but he makes his living in computer science. He is a talented programmer. We brought him here a few years ago because he is a good lecturer, and it is difficult to find a job with a doctorate in history. – she recalled in the same interview. Although today they belong to different parties, their formations co-create a coalition and they still see each other in the corridors of the Sejm.
