The regulations are already in force in 8 voivodeships: West Pomerania, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Greater Poland, Lower Silesia, Silesia, Lublin, Świętokrzyskie, Podkarpackie. determine the class of the boiler, as well as the quality of the fuel with which we feed it. Therefore, the moisture content of firewood cannot be higher than 20%.. This is a big change, because many people cannot afford to buy high-quality wood and often use branches or insufficiently dried logs. Why such a ban? Well, burning wet wood in the stove leads to the chimney clogging. Wet wood also evaporates more and releases more harmful substances. A fine of up to PLN 500 is provided for using inappropriate fuel.
What kind of wood cannot be burned in the stove? You better not throw these things into the fire
