Jaros³aw Kaczyñski wants to create his own television. Szapołowska summarized these plans

The legend of Polish television – Grażyna Szapołowska – has no mercy for Jaros³aw Kaczyñski’s plans. The head of PiS dreams of his own television, because TV Republika is not enough for him.

The loss of TVP was a severe blow to PiS. Fortunately, most former public media employees found a place in the private TV Republika, indirectly owned by people associated with Law and Justice. President Jarosław Kaczyński, however, realizes that without even greater access to the media, it will be difficult for him to win any elections in the future. Therefore, he proposes to create his own television, an equivalent of TVN24, but for PiS.

She summarized these proposals and current changes in Polish Television. The legendary actress has already seen a lot. What does he think about the revolution on TVP and Kaczyński’s plans?

Grażyna Szapołowska summarizes the changes in TVP

Grażyna Szapołowska appeared at the Polsat programming conference. When asked about her opinion on the changes at Telewizja Polska, she did not hide her satisfaction. The main propagandists responsible for the party’s daily messages lost their jobs. Journalists removed by Jacek Kurski have started to return to their places and are now trying to rebuild the public media.

I’m happy about the change in television because it’s the return of a certain type of professionals who used to be. Even though we’ve all aged eight years, it doesn’t change anything. Older people have experience and older people are examples for younger people, they provide education. I believe that there should be changes in television. We need to choose professionals, professional people – concluded Szapołowska.

When asked about plans related to Jarosław Kaczyński’s new political television, she replied with slight amusement that it was a project doomed to failure.

I don’t think it will work. I understand that politicians pretend to be stars, but it’s better when it’s the other way around and stars play politicians. This is more interesting, she said.
